Maria Berdougo

Controller

As Controller, Maria Berdougo guides financial decisions by monitoring and sharing key data points and insights with Souvla’s Leadership Team that will help maintain their mission of thoughtful growth. While studying accounting and hospitality management at the University of San Francisco, Maria worked at Chow and fell in love with the logistics and systems of running a restaurant. She continued her career at Vine Solutions, an accounting firm that services 150 restaurants throughout the United States, where she started as an Accounting Intern and worked her way up to Director of Accounting and Finance over a period of nine years. Maria joined Souvla’s Leadership Team in June of 2018 and is an integral part of Souvla’s future growth and continued commitment to their employees.
